The Mobile World Cogress 2018 is coming, and meanwhile, Barcelona is preparing for this technological event! From February 15 to 24, the Mobile Week Barcelona will fill the city with art, science and technology to reflect on the digital transformation of our lives. One week before the inauguration of the Mobile World Congress, the Mobile Week Barcelona 2018 turns the city into an open space of free activities, where the protagonists are the citizens and the visitors. Through art, science and technology, you can. learn how our lives have changed thanks to the technological advances. The program of activities of the Mobile World Congress includes lectures and debates with experts, exhibitions, workshops, screening of the documentaries and activities for children in all the districts of Barcelona. One of the central proposals is the exhibition "El futuro cotidiano" (the Everyday future), where 10 newly created artistic works will be presented, inviting us to reflect on the impact of digital transformation in our everyday life. It can be seen in the Design Hub Barcelona until March 4. There will also be scheduled visits in spaces such as the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (where the Mare Nostrum computer is located) or the incubator of high technological impact companies, MediaTIC.
