Retro Car Race
The car lovers can head to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya this weekend! From April 6 to 8, the Circuit will host a new edition of the Espíritu de Montjuïc (Montjuic´s Spirit), an event inspired by the luxury car races held in the urban layout of Barcelona during the 60s and 70s. For an amazing stay in Barcelona, take a look at beautiful apartments by Two Sisters Apartments in the neighborhood of Sant Antoni.
This year, the Espíritu de Montjuïc car races will be the most multitudinous in its history, because a total of 244 vehicles will compete: we must add the 19 cars that will take part in the inaugural event to the 225 classics that will participate in the different categories of the so-called Peter Auto Series. There will be 3 days of uninterrupted activities on the track from early morning to late afternoon. The cast that will attend the Espíritu de Montjuïc car races will include some of the most iconic cars in the world. For example, you can see such luxury vehicles as Ferrari 512S or Ferrari 250 GT SWS 'Breadvan'.
The jewel of the Espíritu de Montjuïc car races is without a doubt a Ferrari 250 GTO, which has the honor to be the most expensive car in the world! In addition to the spectacular circuit vehicles, there will also be such luxury vehicles as the Chevron B21, the Porsche 910, the Porsche 917 dressed in the colors of Martini or the Alfa Romeo T333. The Espíritu de Montjuïc will feature vintage rally cars, such as Lancia 037, Lancia Stratos, a Renault 4/4, Ibiza SEAT Kit Car, Ford RS200 or Peugeot 405 T16. Another of the attractions of this car races will be the new Alpine A110 by Renault.
